I am part of the most amazing group of ladies who also happen to be photographers. We are in the midst of a challenge right now. This month we were challenged to take a picture in the theme of “reflection.”

I found the perfect spot and set up and realized that I didn’t have a memory card in my camera, doh! At least it was on a personal day and not on a work day, right? So I took the image with my iphone. Ahhhh, you have got to love the iphone in a pinch!

Awesome Mural ~ Awesome Family: San Francisco Family Photography

The best part of this session is the fact that I get to hang out with this family again later this year. Mr. and Mrs. Awesome (names have been changed to protect the innocent, haha) are celebrating their 10th year anniversary this Autumn and throwing a PAR-TAY!! I am so excited to be documenting their celebration.

This New York transplanted family just makes me smile. I loved the way they went with the flow (and the crazy wind we had) and just had a great time. I love that, I really do!

Here is one cute set from their session. There were many more adorable ones but these two were my favs of my favs.

Hanna’s Having a Baby: Livermore Maternity Photography

I love this girl (and her hubs too)! This is the second time I have had the privilege of working with her and she is delightful to work with. She has great taste in locations and wardrobe and we just kind of “get” each other. I am counting down the days until she has their baby! I can’t wait for that newborn session!

Want to know what is so special about this awesome location? It is where Hanna and Justin got married! How sweet is that?!? Love it!

Family of Four: Clayton Family Photography

What a cute bunch! I am so glad that this family signed up for our holiday mini-sessions! We had a blast with the couch set up and then even more fun in the autumn leaves. Really Autumn is the best time of the year for pictures (well except for Spring, that is great too!).

Precious Little One: San Francisco Newborn Photographer

What a sweet little girl. I had so much fun at this session with her and her big sister. I could totally see that big sister gene coming out in her too! It was a great time to see how little girls interact since, as many of you know, we only have boys. Lots and lots of boys, haha!

Don’t Stop Believing: Livermore Family Photography

What a fun session. This family met me at a gorgeous park in Livermore and then we moved over to some vines (with some gorgeous fall color)! I had so much fun getting to know them and these kids really are the best!

Avid Giants fans, they had to pull out their swag to show off for the Christmas cards. Love it!!

Karim and Jenine: San Francisco Engagement Session

These two are great! Karim is living in San Francisco for a while for work while Jenine is back in Florida. While she was out visiting for a weekend they booked an engagement session. It worked out great. We had spectacular weather and really just a gorgeous day all the way around.

Congrats on your engagement! Enjoy your wedding in Florida later this year! Can’t wait to see the pictures!

Watson Family: Moraga Family Photographers

This family rocks! We had so much fun starting at a one of my family’s favorite parks. We moved on to an abandoned orchard and we also got some sweet shots incorporating one kid’s love of the Sax and the other one’s love of the skateboard (check that shot out at the bottom of the post).

And Big Brother Too: Oakland Newborn Photographer

This adorable family just moved to the area before baby number two arrived. I was pleased to get the call for their session. Baby sister slept like a dream and big brother posed for some adorable shots (with some prompting from Thomas the Train!).

I love it when I get the chance to interact with siblings, there is something so special about their bond.

Sweetness: Lafayette Family Photography

What an adorable family. They came to me just before a big move to the South, and while I am excited for them to move on to a new journey, I am equally sad I won’t have the chance to work them regularly! This little girl was a dream, so smiley. My favorite part was right when we met up for the first time, she literally reached her arms out for me to hold her. Talk about immediate connection. She is a doll!

Thanks so much for squeezing in a family session before your big move. I am so glad we got a chance to meet!
